Its 73-inch tooth-to-tooth pickup width and 78-inch outside-flare width help collect the windrow, while the camless wide pickup and hydraulic lift support convenient operation in the field.

This configuration is equipped for netwrapped, no-chopping baling. The standard netwrap system includes a net gauge and net-tension control, while the spring-loaded bale ramp assists with bale discharge. The 17-knife chopping system can be operated with both knife banks lowered, allowing the baler to produce unchopped bales without knives engaged.

Baling Performance and Operation

The adjustable 36–72-inch bale diameter range allows the 604 Pro G4 to produce bales suited to different handling and storage requirements. The baler’s maximum bale weight is 2,400 pounds. Its wide pickup is supported by spring-assisted flotation gauge wheels, helping the pickup follow field contours while collecting crop. The drop floor provides a means to improve crop flow and assist with plug clearing during operation.

Netwrap is standard on this configuration, supporting the supplied netwrapped-bale specification. The spring-loaded ramp is also included for bale discharge. For unchopped baling, both knife banks are lowered so that no knives are engaged.
