Its low-profile bucket and grapple configuration is specifically designed for skid steers with limited clearance around the grapple arms. With a maximum 35-inch opening and two 2-1/2 x 8-inch hydraulic cylinders, this attachment provides the opening capacity and hydraulic actuation needed for handling a range of bulky or difficult-to-contain materials.

Low-Profile Bucket and Grapple Design

The SBLP84GRS72 pairs a wide skid-steer bucket with HLA Attachments’ GRS72 grapple. The low-profile arrangement is particularly useful when machine geometry restricts grapple-arm clearance. This purpose-built configuration helps operators add grapple functionality without selecting a taller attachment that may not suit the available clearance.

The bucket measures 84 inches wide, while the grapple has a nominal width of 72 inches. Hydraulic Operation

The grapple is operated by two 2-1/2 x 8-inch hydraulic cylinders. Hydraulic flow and pressure requirements are not published, so the skid steer’s auxiliary hydraulic system should be reviewed before installation. Hydraulic hose kits are optional, allowing the appropriate hose and coupler arrangement to be selected for the machine.

Available hydraulic connection options include the HK90 90-inch hose kit with flat-faced couplers and the HK9090 90-inch hose kit with 90-degree flat-faced couplers. An SHMK spring hose-mount kit is also available to help support hose routing.
