Description

HLA Attachments 84-Inch Heavy-Duty High-Volume Front-End Loader Bucket with GRL72 Grapple and BO500 Mount combines a reinforced material bucket with a large utility grapple for loading, carrying, gripping, and controlling bulky material. Built for demanding front-end loader work, this configuration features an 84-inch inside bucket width, 38.5-cubic-foot SAE heaped capacity, and a 72-inch grapple that opens to 85 inches. It is suited to handling loose material, brush, debris, and large round bales up to 6 feet in diameter. The BO500 quick-attach mounting configuration is included, while the removable grapple-post design allows the grapple assembly to be bolted on or removed as operating needs change.

Heavy-Duty High-Volume Bucket Construction

The bucket is manufactured from 1/4-inch material with 1/4-inch end plates for strength in demanding material-handling applications. Its reinforced top lip, round back, and reinforced end plates provide structural support while helping the bucket fill and clean out efficiently. Tapered, self-cleaning end plates are designed to reduce material buildup, making the bucket practical when repeatedly loading and dumping loose or irregular material.

A 3/4 x 6-inch beveled cutting edge provides a durable working edge. The bucket is also drilled to accept a standard bolt-on cutting edge. Its flat top serves as a convenient visual level indicator, helping the operator judge bucket position during loading, grading, and material placement.

GRL72 Large Utility Grapple

The included GRL72 grapple provides 72 inches of gripping width and opens to a maximum of 85 inches. This broad opening enables the attachment to secure bulky, uneven loads that may be difficult to retain in a conventional bucket. It can also handle large round bales up to 6 feet in diameter.

Grapple cylinders are included. Hydraulic service from the loader is required to operate them. Hydraulic flow, pressure, and coupler specifications are not published, so the loader’s hydraulic setup should be confirmed before installation. Optional HK90 and HK9090 90-inch hose kits with flat-faced couplers are available separately.

Mounting and Compatibility

This attachment is supplied with the BO500 quick-attach mounting configuration. BO500 is used for multiple loader applications and does not, by itself, identify one specific loader make or model. Confirm the intended loader model and quick-attach interface before ordering or installation. The stated approximate attachment weight is 1,475 pounds; any weight specifically attributable to the BO500 mounting configuration is not separately published.

Loader and Hydraulic Requirements

The loader must provide hydraulic service to operate the grapple, and it must be capable of safely supporting and operating the attachment and intended load. Grapple cylinders are included, but hydraulic flow, pressure, hose, and coupler requirements are not specified. Verify hydraulic compatibility, mounting fit, and loader capacity before use.
