HLA Attachments 66-inch Light Duty Root Rake with Hydraulic Grapple (RRGLD66BO500) is a lightweight, rugged material-handling attachment designed for compact loaders with a universal skid-steer quick-attach carrier. Its flame-cut tines comb through soil to separate roots, rocks and loose debris, while the hydraulic grapple helps capture and control bulky or irregular material. With a 66-inch working width, 33-1/2-inch maximum grapple opening and durable AR400 digging points, this root rake is well suited to land clearing, property cleanup, brush handling and similar site-maintenance work.

Efficient Root, Rock and Debris Separation

The open-tine construction allows loose soil to pass between the tines while retaining larger material. Tines are spaced 7 inches apart from centre to centre, helping the rake separate roots, rocks and debris from the ground during cleanup operations. The digging points are manufactured from 1/2-inch-thick AR400 material for durability at the primary ground-contact areas.

This design gives compact-loader operators a practical way to rake disturbed ground, collect unwanted material and leave more soil behind. The 66-inch working width provides useful coverage while the attachment maintains an approximate weight of 425 lb, supporting its intended use as a light-duty root rake for compact loaders.

Hydraulic Grapple for Better Material Control

The integrated hydraulic grapple secures brush, roots and irregular debris against the rake. A single 2-1/2 x 8-inch hydraulic cylinder operates the grapple, which opens to a maximum of 33-1/2 inches. This opening provides room to capture bulky material, while the closed grapple helps retain loads during lifting, repositioning and transport around the work site.
