HLA Attachments SST96BO500 Side Discharge Straw/Lime Bucket is a hydraulically driven, skid-steer-mounted material-handling attachment designed for controlled discharge to either the left or right side. With a 96-inch inside width and an approximate 2-3/4-cubic-yard heaped capacity, it is suited to distributing chopped straw, straw/lime mixtures, sawdust, wood shavings, fine-to-medium wood chips, corn silage and premixed TMR. Its direct-coupled hydraulic drive, metering drum and durable conveyor system work together to provide consistent material flow, while the BO500 skid-steer quick attach makes it ready for compatible skid-steer loaders.

Controlled Side Discharge

The SST96BO500 can discharge material from either side, allowing the operator to select the direction that best suits the work area. This bidirectional discharge capability is useful when bedding livestock areas, distributing feed materials or placing loose material along walls and other confined spaces.

A hydraulically driven metering drum regulates the flow of material onto the conveyor belt. The integrated agitator and beater help prevent material from bridging inside the bucket, supporting a more reliable feed onto the belt. One hydraulic motor powers the conveyor belt, while a separate hydraulic motor operates the drum and beater system.

Heavy-Duty Conveyor System

Material is carried by a 12-inch-wide, high-abrasion rubber conveyor belt equipped with 1-1/2-inch paddles. This configuration is designed to move a range of agricultural and bedding materials through the bucket and toward the selected discharge side. The hydraulic direct-coupled drive provides a straightforward power-transfer arrangement without relying on a PTO.

The flared bucket design supports snag-free loading when working along a wall.
