HLA Attachments SS84BO500 84-Inch Side-Discharge Sawdust Bucket combines a 2-1/8-cubic-yard heaped capacity with a hydraulically powered 12-inch chevron belt for controlled material placement. Configured with the BO500 skid-steer quick-attach mount, this bucket is designed for skid-steer quick-attach carriers and compatible loaders or material handlers equipped through HLA’s bolt-on adaptation system. The operator can hydraulically select left- or right-side discharge from the cab without stopping to reconfigure the bucket, making it a practical solution for distributing sawdust and handling similar materials where accurate side placement and efficient flow are important.

Controlled Hydraulic Side Discharge

The SS84 uses a coupled-direct hydraulic drive with two hydraulic motors powering the discharge belt. Its 12-inch-wide chevron belt helps move material toward the selected side of the bucket, while adjustable discharge doors provide additional control over material delivery. Belt tensioners are also adjustable to support proper setup and ongoing operation.

Discharge direction is selected hydraulically from the operator’s cab. Material can be directed to either the left or right without setup changes, reducing interruptions when working along feed areas, rows, alleys, or other locations where the preferred discharge side can vary.

Designed to Maintain Material Flow

A hydraulically driven beater helps prevent bridging and encourages material to feed consistently onto the discharge belt. Shield fingers further assist by breaking up material clumps before discharge. The system uses one dedicated hydraulic motor for the beater in addition to the two motors driving the belt.

The bucket provides an 84-inch inside width and a heaped capacity of 2-1/8 cubic yards. Its calculated outside width is approximately 86.5 inches, with overall outside dimensions of 44 inches high by 57 inches long. Approximate attachment weight is 1,300 pounds.

Compatibility

This configuration includes the BO500 skid-steer quick-attach mount and is intended for skid-steer quick-attach carriers using HLA mounting code BO500. The bolt-on mounting system also allows the bucket to be adapted for most loaders and material handlers through an appropriate HLA bolt-on quick-attach adaptation.

An optional Category 2 three-point-hitch mount with a tilting cylinder is available as an alternative mounting arrangement. Compatibility depends on the selected mounting hardware and the specifications of the carrier.
