The HLA Attachments MBHVX78HDBO500 78-inch Heavy Duty Extra High Volume Front-End Loader Bucket combines high material capacity, heavy-duty construction and a BO500 universal skid-steer quick-attach interface. Designed for front-end loader applications where greater bucket volume is required, it provides a 36.5 cu ft struck capacity and a 44.5 cu ft SAE heaped capacity. Its reinforced round back, tapered end plates and generous 41-inch depth help the bucket fill efficiently while reducing material buildup during cleanout.

Heavy-Duty Extra High Volume Design

The MBHVX78HDBO500 is based on HLA Attachments’ MBHVX78HD bucket and is supplied in the BO500 mounting configuration. The bucket has a 78-inch inside width, a calculated 80-inch outside width and an approximate base-bucket weight of 880 lb.

Heavy-duty 1/4-inch bucket material is paired with 1/4-inch end plates for strength. The round back and end plates are reinforced to support demanding loader work while also promoting easier filling and cleanout. Tapered, self-cleaning end plates further reduce areas where material can accumulate.

A 3/4 x 6-inch beveled cutting edge provides a durable working edge at the front of the bucket. The bucket is also factory-drilled to accommodate a compatible optional bolt-on cutting edge, allowing the working edge to be configured for different operating preferences. Available HLA cutting-edge specifications include double-bevel and serrated options.

Designed for Efficient Loader Operation

The reinforced top lip contributes structural support, while the flat top doubles as a convenient level indicator. This gives the operator a straightforward visual reference for bucket position during loading and handling. With a height of 34 inches and depth of 41 inches, the extra high volume profile is suited to applications where bucket capacity is a priority.

This is a non-powered loader bucket, so it does not require a PTO connection or a dedicated hydraulic function. Operation is provided through the loader to which the bucket is attached.
