HLA Attachments SSC72BO500 Hydraulic Side-Discharge Sawdust/Material Bucket combines a 72-inch inside width, approximately 1-7/8 cubic yard heaped capacity, and a heavy-duty cleated conveyor belt for controlled material placement. Designed for loader and material-handler applications, this bucket can discharge from either the left or right side, allowing the operator to place material without repeatedly repositioning the carrier. Its hydraulically driven beater, shield fingers, adjustable discharge doors, and direct-drive belt system work together to improve flow, break up clumps, and help reduce bridging. The BO500 bolt-on quick-attach configuration provides mounting flexibility, while the hydraulic system requires a minimum flow of 12 GPM.

Controlled Left- or Right-Side Discharge

The SSC72 is equipped with a 12-inch-wide heavy-duty rubber conveyor belt featuring 3/4-inch cleats. The cleated surface helps carry material toward the selected discharge side, while two hydraulic belt motors provide direct power to the conveyor. Operators can choose to discharge from either side of the machine to suit the work area and placement requirements.

Adjustable discharge doors provide additional control over material flow at the bucket outlets. Adjustable belt tensioners help prevent slippage and maintain proper belt tracking, supporting consistent operation and simplifying belt adjustment.

Hydraulic Beater for Improved Material Flow

A dedicated hydraulic motor powers the bucket’s beater. The beater promotes consistent feeding onto the conveyor and helps prevent material from bridging inside the bucket. Shield fingers further assist by breaking up clumps before the material reaches the discharge belt.
