HLA Attachments TE55039BO500 Three-Prong Bale Spear with Adjustable Guard is a loader-mounted attachment designed for moving large square bales, including bales stacked up to three high. It combines three 39-inch Kverneland bale-spear tines, 34 inches of usable tine length, and an adjustable guard that extends from 50 to 84 inches high. With a rated capacity of 6,000 lb at a 24-inch load center and a BO500 universal skid-steer quick-attach mounting configuration, this bale spear provides a strong, practical setup for demanding bale-handling work.

Adjustable Guard for Stacked Square Bales

The adjustable guard posts support applications involving large square bales stacked as many as three high. The frame measures 50 inches high when retracted and extends to 84 inches, allowing its height to be adapted to the bale-handling task. This adjustable design provides flexibility when moving individual bales or taller bale stacks.

A safety foot provides rollover protection while the attachment is stored. This feature helps support the bale spear when it is detached and not in use.

Three-Tine Bale-Handling Design

The TE55039BO500 uses three Kverneland bale-spear tines spaced 23 inches apart. Each tine has an overall length of 39 inches and provides 34 inches of usable length. The three-prong arrangement distributes engagement across the bale, while the 56-inch-wide frame provides a substantial working profile for large square-bale applications.
