Its 37-1/2-inch maximum opening provides useful capacity for handling bulky or irregular loads, while the 48-inch width matches the corresponding fork size. This configuration is ideal when the compatible fork is already in service and only the grapple assembly and cylinder are required.

Grapple-Only Configuration

The GRC48 is supplied as a 48-inch grapple with its hydraulic cylinder. It does not include the fork. Before ordering, confirm that the existing attachment is a compatible HLA SBC, MBC, or LDFE model with a 48-inch fork.

At approximately 136 lb, the grapple is built around a heavy-duty welded cylinder and opens to a maximum of 37-1/2 inches. This opening allows the grapple to close over materials that may be difficult to retain on forks alone, helping provide additional load control during hydraulic material-handling work.
