Description

The BRABER SS1RN 1-Shank 3-Point Subsoiler is a compact, single-shank deep-tillage implement designed to break through hardpan and compacted soil below the reach of conventional surface tillage. With an adjustable working depth from 12 to 22 inches and a narrow 2-inch working profile, it helps improve soil aeration and drainage while providing a practical option for light underground utility installation. The SS1RN attaches to Category 1, 3-point-hitch compact tractors rated up to 40 HP and requires no PTO.

Deep Soil Breaking for Compact Tractors

Compacted layers can restrict root growth, reduce water movement, and limit the effectiveness of surface cultivation. The BRABER SS1RN uses a single deep-working shank to reach these lower soil layers and help break up hardpan. Its adjustable 12–22 inch working depth allows the implement to be set according to the soil condition and the depth required for the task.

The narrow 2-inch working width concentrates the shank’s action into a compact profile, making the SS1RN suitable for targeted deep tillage with compact tractors. It can be used for soil aeration, drainage improvement, and light underground utility installation where a narrow deep-working implement is appropriate.
